Native Azalea Festival Photos & Interpretation

As you make your way around Graham County, North Carolina to explore the incredible Native Azalea Blooms, expect to be wowed by the remarkable diversity of color. From pale tangerine tones to rich, fiery reds, the sites are certainly something to see. In year's past, the Azalea Society of America as well as the Partners of Joyce Kilmer-Slickrock Wilderness have provided in-person interpretation. While we will opt for a social-distancing experience this year, and forgo in-person engagement, we hope that you'll enjoy the experience just as well. Relax, disengage, and enjoy the beauty that Mother Nature has brought us in this season. For more detailed information on the Azaleas, feel free to explore our FAQ page.
